ABOUT US

Our Story

Mush Love was born out of a deep passion for mushrooms and a heartfelt aspiration to contribute to a better world. We are fortunate to be surrounded by a fantastic team of kindred spirits who support and inspire us every step of the way. As a Colorado-based business, we take pride in our roots and our collaborative efforts with therapists, spiritual mentors, and individuals who share our ethos of love and compassion.

We're delighted to make your acquaintance!

Hey, I’m Alex—also known as A Human BEing with Love.

I founded Mush Love because mushrooms changed my life.

Growing up in a cult, struggling with my identity as a trans person, and surviving conversion therapy left me feeling unworthy and disconnected from myself. For years, I searched for something to help me feel whole.

Then, I found mushrooms. And for the first time, I felt love—not from someone else, but from within me. That moment reshaped my entire existence.

Now, as the CEO of Mush Love, I’ve built something bigger than myself. Mush Love isn’t just a business—it’s a movement. We’re here to bring high-quality, intentional medicine to those who need it most. Through guided sessions, microdosing support, and retreats, I’ve had the privilege of helping people reconnect with themselves in ways they never thought possible. Seeing that transformation fuels everything I do.

I lead with love, authenticity, and respect for the mycelium that connects us all. Mush Love is built on these values—from the way we grow our medicine to the way we nurture our community. We’re not just in this for business; we’re in this for healing.

I’m endlessly grateful for the people who support this mission. Together, we’re spreading love, one mushroom at a time.

A note from Alex:
💡 Meet the steady force that keeps Mush Love grounded and growing in the right direction. – Leslie Arboleda! 💡

Every great mission needs someone who keeps it grounded, focused, and aligned, and for Mush Love, that person is Leslie. As our Business Manager, Leslie isn’t just about numbers, processes, and strategy—she’s about keeping the heart of this company beating strong.

She’s the secret weapon that makes me feel like I can tackle anything. Since joining the team, she’s given me a level of support, confidence, and clarity that I didn’t even realize I was missing. She’s not just here for the business—she’s here for me. Whether it’s helping me navigate challenges, ensuring we stay true to our mission, or just believing in me fully, Leslie has been one of my biggest champions from day one.

Beyond her incredible business mind, she’s also an insightful spiritual advisor. Thanks to her deep understanding of Human Design, she’s helped map out each person in Mush Love, allowing us to play to our strengths, appreciate each other more, and function like puzzle pieces coming together to build something greater than ourselves.

She keeps me centered, empowered, and focused, so that I can show up as my best self—for Mush Love, for my team, and for our mission. I truly can’t imagine this journey without her.

🔥 Thanks for being on the team, Leslie! 🔥

Hello, I am Leslie Tankersley Arboleda, the Kizen Koach™, a certified Quantum Human Design™ Specialist, Family Coach, international speaker, and author.

Through my coaching business, Kizen Living, inspired by the Japanese concept of continuous improvement, I focus on the power of personal narrative, helping people learn to tell the story they want to live so they can live the story they want to tell.

Using a combination of movement and stillness, I guide my clients in reconnecting with their body, brain, and breath. I believe that transforming your relationship with yourself transforms your relationships in life. In my writing and speaking, I share my story of transforming challenges into choices, emphasizing integrity and resilience.

I combine my experience, education, and expertise in neuropsychology, quantum physics, and marketing to support clients and retreat participants in making aligned choices that create sustained joy and success.

In addition to my established expertise, I am now co-facilitating healing retreats that incorporate psilocybin, adding a profound dimension to my work. With a commitment to supporting others in their healing journey, I help those who are integrating psilocybin as a tool for deep transformation and self-discovery.

I believe each person is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime cosmic event and hope to empower everyone to create desired change and tangible results in their lives and relationships.

Collaborators!

Being in the Entheogenic community you meet so many humans that are doing work to make the world a better place. These are a few that I am honored to work with in different ways.

Hi, I’m Will.

My involvement with non-ordinary states of consciousness began when I was very young. Having various experiences that could be described as psychic, or mystical, I often had difficulties reconciling my direct perception with the materialistic scientific worldview that is the consensus reality of our age. These experiences culminated in a spiritual emergence, brought on by a heavy dose of psychedelic mushrooms, followed closely by a near death experience at the age of 16.

These experiences led me to academic pursuits in the field of Psychology to understand and integrate the powerful lessons therein, culminating in a degree focused on education and the emergent field of transpersonal psychology. This academic foundation was complemented by hands-on experience, including training in various contemporary and ancient therapeutic modalities such as Jungian Dream Work, Yoga, Vipassana Meditation, Tai Ji, Ritual Theater, and Ecstatic Dance. I am currently pursing a graduate degree in the Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program at Naropa University.

My journey as a facilitator has taken shape through immersive experiences in diverse settings. From volunteering at retreat centers, to working with friends and colleagues in spiritual crisis, I’ve cultivated a skillset grounded in compassion and safety. My work is guided by a commitment to harm reduction and ethical practice, ensuring that every participant has the support and love they need to fully experience what the medicine is bringing to surface, and has the tools to appropriately integrate their experiences.

I approach facilitation as a sacred responsibility, holding space with reverence and respect for the profound potential of psychedelic mushrooms. In a world where mental health crises are on the rise, I believe in the power of psychedelics to heal and transform lives.
