Mushroom Consumption Information!

There are many ways to consume mushrooms, here we will share a description of some of the most common ways of consumption and rate them based on the experiences and testimonials we receive!

We will rate them based on 5 things: 

How Fast It Works: The time it will take to hit you. 1 mushroom means it will hit you the slowest, 5 mushrooms the fastest.

Intensity of Trip: The intensity of any trip is really dictated by the strength/strain of the mushrooms. Here we are rating the intensity of the trip as in how hard they will hit you, based on the mushrooms you have. 1 is least, 5 is most.

Length of Trip: Approximate length of the trip in relation to other types of consumption. 1 is shortest, 5 is longest.

Effectiveness From Mushrooms: This rates how much of the mushrooms psilocybin content is extracted/consumed through the process. 1 is the least, 5 is the most.

Upset Stomach Potential: ALL mushrooms have the potential to give people an upset stomach. Especially the stronger strains and some methods. On our scale 1 is the least potential for stomach upset, 5 is the most.

Lastly a reminder, some sources recommend trips be done on an empty stomach/mixed with your desired method for the full experience.

On the other hand, many people often find they have a much smoother, better overall experience if they do eat! So just make sure to up the dose by about 10-20% if you eat first.

 3.) Consume! (Be careful while consuming, they can be very crunchy and get stuck in your teeth or have a hard time going down. Drink lots of water or something else with them!)

Mushroom Tea

Description:

1.) Measure out your dosage.

2.) Grind up your dosage or break it up into fine pieces, then set them aside.

(We recommend a coffee grinder if you have one when grinding up mushrooms.)

 3.) Take your favorite tea bag and put it in a cup. 

4.) Boil some water and pour it in your cup with your tea bag. 

5.) Once the temperature is at or below 350 degrees Fahrenheit/175 degrees Celsius add your mushrooms and stir. If you add higher than this you will have degradation of the psilocybin content in the mushrooms. 

6.) Let sit 15-20 minutes at room temperature to cool.

7.) Strain the mushrooms and take out the teabag.

Description:

1.) Measure out your dosage. (Due to the nature of this method, it is recommended to use half your dose for desired effects)

2.) Grind up your dosage or break it up into a very fine powder, then put it in a cup.

(We recommend a coffee grinder if you have one when grinding up mushrooms.)

 3.) Take the juice from 1-3 lemons and cover the mushroom powder in the mug, then mix really well,

4.) Cover and let sit for 5 minutes, then stir again.

5.) Repeat 3 more times for a total of 20 minutes sit time.

6.) Strain the juice into a new cup or mug, removing the mushroom powder.

7.) Add about 1/2 cup water and sugar to taste, or 1/2 cup already brewed cold tea, or 1/2 cup of any other cold drink you enjoy with lemon.

8.) Consume!

Lemon Tea

Nut Butter

Description:

1.) Measure out your dosage.

2.) Grind up your dosage or break it up into fine pieces, then put it in a bowl.

(We recommend a coffee grinder if you have one when grinding up mushrooms.)

 3.) Take your favorite nut butter (Peanut Butter, Nutella, Almond Butter, etc) and mix a few tablespoons in. You want enough to thoroughly cover the mushrooms after mixing them together. Bigger doses will require more.

4.) Mix them together really well.

5.) Consume!

Description:

1.) Measure out your dosage.

 3.) Measure out 2 cups milk, 2 teaspoons tumeric powder, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 pinch black pepper, teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon coconut oil, and 1 teaspoon honey and have them ready.

4.) In a small saucepan, warm the milk over medium-low heat until it heats up but does not boil.

5.) Add the mushroom powder, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper into the saucepan, whisking continuously to blend the ingredients and prevent clumping.

6.) Mix the coconut oil allowing it to melt and fully incorporate into the latte.

7.) Sweeten the latte with honey, adjusting the amount to suit your preference.

8.) Once all the ingredients are combined and the latte gets desired temperature (no hotter than 175 degrees,)  removed the saucepan from the heat.

9.) Pour in a cup or cups and enjoy! (You may add some cinnamon or ground tumeric on top to taste if you'd like)
