New strains of mushrooms are continuously emerging, offering a diverse array of experiences. What's fascinating is that each species and strain provides a unique journey for every individual. While the testimonials we gather offer insight into overall characteristics, it's important to remember that your experiences will be distinctive. We encourage you to explore different strains and share your feedback, as each person's journey is truly unique.​

For now will rate them based on 4 things, along with some notes from testimonials we've received: 

Strength: The overall potency compared to other mushroom strains. 1 is the least strong, 5 is the most strong.

Visuals: How likely you are to have visuals at doses that would usually offer that. 1 is least likely, 5 is most likely.

Colors: How likely you are to see colors at doses that would usually offer that. 1 is least likely, 5 is most likely.

Experience Descriptions:  This is a beautiful cross between Melmac (The closest thing we have to the Original Penis Envy strain) and TAT (True Albino Teacher.) Both strains are not only very strong, but very visual and euphorically spiritual. To top it off it's a gorgeous strain that is fun to look at. It's called MVP for a reason!

Experience Descriptions:  This is a another cross starting with Melmac (The closest thing we have to the Original Penis Envy strain) this time crossed with YETI. YETI is another very strong strain, often listed in the top 10 mushrooms when rated for Psilocybin content. It's very visual and known for the visual and sometimes even auditory hallucinations. Combine the two and you get a mushroom that gets 5 mushrooms in every category!

Experience Descriptions:  "Blue Meanies" is often mistaken for Panaeolus cyanescens, a different species of magic mushroom. This strain gets its name from the deep blue bruising that appears when handled, a trait more visible in larger, lighter-colored mushrooms. Lineage: Sporeless yet stabilized blob-like mutation from McKennaii. 

The story behind this strain actually started with Mush Love. Alex sent a sample of his culture to Milly Wyco, one of his best friends in life and the industry. When Milly grew it out it decided to start to blob on him and he named it McNigma, honoring both McKenna and Enigma! 

We are super proud to be a part of this strain's lineage!

Experience Descriptions:  This strain offers a very relaxing and soothing experience. Which is not surprising because it has HillBilly Pumpkin as one of it's ancestors, known as one of the most soothing and spiritual strains.

Experience Descriptions:  The name is fitting as these grow all on top of each other in mounds of mushrooms. They dry out all light and fluffy and just like their fruiting bodies they will make you feel light and fluffy too!

Ochraceocentrata is a mushroom that connects you to your environment.

Where Cubensis turns your awareness inward, Ochraceocentrata dissolves the boundary between you and the outer world. It shifts the frequency of perception so that what is normally filtered out becomes available. The environment, the people around you, the land, sound, and presence itself all come alive in a way that is unmistakable.

This is not imagination.
It is a change in how you are tuned.

A world that is suddenly alive

On Ochraceocentrata, places feel conscious. Old houses feel alive. Forests communicate. Trees feel relational rather than separate. It is not just that you notice more, but that you feel yourself in relationship with everything around you.

Experience Descriptions:  Psilocybe Ochraceocentrata or P. Och for short is an incredibly strong mushroom. At lower doses (around .5 grams) you will still feel incredibly open, with your ego senses going more offline and will feel very high. But you can still communicate, journal, draw, and do other things.

At higher doses you will have incredibly intense trips with one person even saying they could "see the molecules the air was made of."

One of the biggest differences between Ochs and Cubes is sound. On cubes, sound is your ground. On Ochs music you know and love will often sound incredibly different and unfamiliar. Making the journey even more multi-sensory in a very new and different way. 

The bigger doeses also last longer, on average 6-8 hours.

Experience Descriptions:  As cross of Psilocybe Ochraceocentrata with a Psilocybe Cubensis this is an incredibly unique strain. It gives all the wonderful effects of visuals/colors and euphoria. You need les and it lasts longer. It's a bit harder to cultivate and lower yield than regular cubes.

Subtropicalis is a mushroom that helps you do the work in the most loving and gentle, yet direct way possible.

Subtropicalis originates from Mexico, where it was first documented in subtropical regions of Central America, particularly areas with warm, humid climates and rich soil ecosystems. It’s part of the group of sclerotia-producing mushrooms that evolved in environments where conditions fluctuate, which is likely why its medicine feels so deep, adaptive, and internally focused.

It comes from land where:

  • human–plant relationships go back thousands of years

  • mushrooms were understood as teachers and healers, not substances

  • inner, emotional, and spiritual work was woven into daily life

Experience Descriptions: 

Psilocybe Subtropicalis is a deeply emotional and internally focused mushroom that works in a much quieter and subtler way than Cubensis or Ochraceocentrata, while going even further than they do.

At lower doses, Subtropicalis may not feel very intense at first. You can often still communicate, journal, or move around, and you may even think you are “not really in it.” However, this is part of how the medicine works. It brings you into a vulnerable emotional space without loud visuals or dramatic sensations.

At higher doses, Subtropicalis takes you into deep emotional processing. The experience is not primarily visual, but energetic and somatic, allowing emotions and long-held material to move through while you are fully inside the experience.

Subtropicalis journeys typically last 6–8 hours. Around the 4-hour mark, many people mistakenly believe the experience is over. It is not. The medicine often shifts into a subtle in-between space where vulnerability remains high even though the intensity feels reduced. This is an important time to stay gentle, supported, and mindful.
